Laboratory Table

A laboratory table can serve many purposes. They can be used as a simple office desk, a research work station, or as dedicated platform for a specific piece of equipment. They are available in a multitude of configurations, from a number of manufacturers.

Depending on what it’s being used for, a laboratory table can be made from any number of materials. For tables that could be exposed to corrosive chemicals, synthetic materials are often preferred. Stainless steel is also a common option for this type of table.

The lab island is another common category of laboratory table. These tables are designed to accommodate several lab technicians, allowing them to work together in a more convenient manner. They are most often placed in the center of a room, thereby allowing 360 degree access to the work surface.
