Laboratory Products

There are many laboratory products that are designed for lab safety. Because a laboratory can sometimes be a hazardous place to work, safety is of the utmost importance. Eye and skin protection are especially important.

Gloves are arguably the most common of laboratory products. Latex gloves are used for the vast majority of laboratory tasks. However, thicker rubber gloves are often used when handling dangerous chemicals.

Laboratory products almost always include items for eye protection as well. Safety goggles are the most commonly used, but are designed to protect the eyes only. However, it is not uncommon to see lab workers using full face shields in certain circumstances.
